He joined Ajanta Pharma, where he oversaw Marketing and Joint Venture Operations in the CIS region and later headed the international business development division. During his tenure, the company saw its brands move up to the top 10 categories and expansion to 8 countries in the CIS region.
Ravi has over 2 decades experience in Life Sciences, Infrastructure Industries and Sustainable Energy. He is passionate about promoting and mentoring new businesses across several verticals such as Energy, Mining, Biotech and Information Technology which includes companies like Gencrest and Infinichains, both start-up technology disruptors.
Anil has more than two decades of executive experience in the Metal Manufacturing industry. He has mastered the implementation of productivity-boosting initiatives for projects and leads with a proactive approach towards work.
In his previous role at Konkola Copper Mines, his holistic approach led to the implementation of safety measures and complete eradication of fatal incidents while increasing productivity. He believes in growth through sustainability and has self-funded and executed development initiatives in Biodiesel and Agricultural projects.
Anil is an advisory board member for the Copper Belt University in Zambia and a member of the Engineers Institute of Zambia. He has been awarded the Platinum Award in IMEA for three consecutive years and has also been a recipient of various awards by Qualtech, CII, and ASQ.

As CEO of the Mining vertical of Samta Group in Africa, he currently oversees the mining operations in Uganda and DR Congo.
Vinay brings with him over 25 years’ experience, with the last 15 + years in strategic management roles. His journey has seen him associate with leading brands such as Tata General, Monsanto (Solutia), Pall, InterWrap, and Skechers, before joining the Samta Group.
His strength includes leading the Core Functional Leadership Team comprising of Accounts, Finance, Commercial, Compliance including Taxation, Legal, Secretarial, Info-Tech & Logistic. He has been passionately involved with startups and green field projects as also with Mergers, Acquisitions & Joint Ventures. He is an active member of CII CFO Forum.
Rashmi brings with her a mix of leadership skills, commercial acumen and technical expertise. She has 2 decades of experience in various sectors such as Biotherapeutics, Clinical Research, Microbial Engineering & Enzymology. She has a Doctorate degree in Enzymology and a Post-Doctoral in Proteomic and Molecular Biology. She is also an entrepreneur and is actively involved in the strategic decisions made in the company.
Being a firm believer in social responsibility, she constantly works on developing quality solutions and products that are beneficial to society. Rashmi also takes time out to volunteer at a non-profit center for cancer patients every weekend. Aside from work, she is involved in several socio-economic causes such as women’s health, public education and animal welfare.
Starting as a Purchase Clerk in 1973, today Mr. Naidu has under his belt over 45 years of experience with multinational companies in the Procurement and Commercial space, ensuring the company gets the best deals when it comes to Industrial Purchase.

With over 24 years of experience, Rajesh has been involved in Operations Management, Business Development, Production, Project Management, Trading of Minerals, Logistics, Materials Management, Laboratory and R&D, Exploration, and of course, Mining. His achievements include setting up entire business operations from the inception for Samta Natural Resources at Congo, heading the Operation and Exploration team in DRC and Uganda, as well as planning and implementing Logistics.
Sharata has over 30 years of experience in Mineral Exploration and Development & Operations of mining projects across the globe. He has held various senior leadership and operational roles across Gold, Diamond, Copper & Cobalt and 3Ts (Tin, Tantalum & Tungsten) metals in different parts of Africa.
Prior to joining SMML, Sharata has been Group COO for RioZim where he played the pivotal role in commissioning of BIOX plant at CAM & Motor Gold Mine and expansion of other gold mines in Zimbabwe. He has been associated with Somika Group as Group Executive Adviser and with Chemicals of Africa (CHEMAF) as Director (Mining and Exploration) and taking care of entire gamut of exploration and mining operations for Copper & Cobalt and Tin & Tantalum in different parts of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
He holds a Master of Technology in Applied Geology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee and in Mineral Exploration from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, India.
As a Human Resources professional, practitioner, and consultant, Aarti Kumar Rhai brings with her 18+ years of leadership experience in various industries that include but are not limited to Pharma, FMCG, Manufacturing, Engineering, and BFSI. A certified “MBTI practitioner,” she holds a Master’s degree in Management. She has assayed various roles in the past including Head of HR (Commercial Operations), Sandoz India. His capabilities include: Project Planning, Execution, Engineering, Monitoring, Controlling, Billing and Operation and maintenance of projects.
Socially conscious, he has been an important part of the Tree Planting project at the Solar Plant.
Vinod is a synthetic biologist with 16 years of experience in the fields of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetic Engineering, Enzyme Engineering, Enzymology, and Biocatalysis. He is well-versed in Cloning, Mutagenesis, Library Creation, Assay Development, Screening, Structure-function Relationship, Structure-guided Rational Design, Protein Expression, and Protein Purification.
Prior to Gencrest, he was with Reliance Industries Ltd., where his work resulted in a patent application and publication. He also worked as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, Germany.
On the academic front, Vinod did his PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands and his MSc in Chemistry from IIT Delhi. He has 15 publications and 4 patent applications to his name.
Amit is an exploration specialist with skills in Geological Modelling. He has more than 20 years of global experience spanning 20 countries.
He has managed projects from reconnaissance to resource stages in a variety of occurrences, such as porphyry gold-copper, epithermal and orogenic gold, sedimentary uranium, kimberlite diamonds, and iron ore. Some of his major accomplishments are, an iron ore discovery in Guinea for WAI Capital, Canada and a gold discovery in Tanzania for NMDC Ltd. India.
He has a Doctorate degree in Structural Geology from Banaras Hindu University, India and was awarded the prestigious Dr. K.S. Krishnan Fellowship by the Department of Atomic Energy. Amit also founded MPXG Exploration, India and GeoExploration LLC, USA.
Srinivas brings with him more than 24 years of experience in managing different ore commodities of Mineral Process Plant Operations, Project Commissioning, Finance, Environment, Logistics, and liaising with corporate and external agencies. He holds a Masters in Technology - Mineral Processing.

Praveen is an accomplished strategist with more than 33 years of experience in the Mining business. He has expertise in the areas of Mine Construction and Mine Expansion, Mine Design, Beneficiation, and Smelting.
He is well-versed in Strategy Formulation, Cost Reduction and Budgeting, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment, Asset Optimization, Behavior-based Safety Management, and Project Management. Praveen has been part of the management teams which brought positive transformations at Hindustan Zinc Ltd., India and AGRC, Armenia (Vedanta).
He played a key role in getting the Rampura Agucha Open Cast Mines recognized as a world-class operation. Praveen was also actively involved in reviving the Rajpura Dariba Mines in 1994.
