Ravi graduated with Masters in International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and returned to India following an internship with the global marketing team of Sanofi, New Jersey, USA.

He joined Ajanta Pharma, where he oversaw Marketing and Joint Venture Operations in the CIS region and later headed the international business development division. During his tenure, the company saw its brands move up to the top 10 categories and expansion to 8 countries in the CIS region.

Rashmi brings with her a mix of leadership skills, commercial acumen and technical expertise. She has 2 decades of experience in various sectors such as Biotherapeutics, Clinical Research, Microbial Engineering & Enzymology. She has a Doctorate degree in Enzymology and a Post-Doctoral in Proteomic and Molecular Biology. She is also an entrepreneur and is actively involved in the strategic decisions made in the company.

Being a firm believer in social responsibility, she constantly works on developing quality solutions and products that are beneficial to society. Rashmi also takes time out to volunteer at a non-profit center for cancer patients every weekend. Aside from work, she is involved in several socio-economic causes such as women’s health, public education and animal welfare.

Starting as a Purchase Clerk in 1973, today Mr. Naidu has under his belt over 45 years of experience with multinational companies in the Procurement and Commercial space, ensuring the company gets the best deals when it comes to Industrial Purchase.

He is currently the Secretary of the Rotary Club of Thane Imperial and is actively involved in the Joy of Serving Humanity (JOSH).

With over 24 years of experience, Rajesh has been involved in Operations Management, Business Development, Production, Project Management, Trading of Minerals, Logistics, Materials Management, Laboratory and R&D, Exploration, and of course, Mining. His achievements include setting up entire business operations from the inception for Samta Natural Resources at Congo, heading the Operation and Exploration team in DRC and Uganda, as well as planning and implementing Logistics.

Sharata has over 30 years of experience in Mineral Exploration and Development & Operations of mining projects across the globe. He has held various senior leadership and operational roles across Gold, Diamond, Copper & Cobalt and 3Ts (Tin, Tantalum & Tungsten) metals in different parts of Africa.

Prior to joining SMML, Sharata has been Group COO for RioZim where he played the pivotal role in commissioning of BIOX plant at CAM & Motor Gold Mine and expansion of other gold mines in Zimbabwe. He has been associated with Somika Group as Group Executive Adviser and with Chemicals of Africa (CHEMAF) as Director (Mining and Exploration) and taking care of entire gamut of exploration and mining operations for Copper & Cobalt and Tin & Tantalum in different parts of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

He holds a Master of Technology in Applied Geology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee and in Mineral Exploration from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, India.

As a Human Resources professional, practitioner, and consultant, Aarti Kumar Rhai brings with her 18+ years of leadership experience in various industries that include but are not limited to Pharma, FMCG, Manufacturing, Engineering, and BFSI. A certified “MBTI practitioner,” she holds a Master’s degree in Management. She has assayed various roles in the past including Head of HR (Commercial Operations), Sandoz India. Aarti has also been associated with organizations such as Mahindra and Mahindra, Pepsi, Novartis, and Plethico.

She has handled multiple assignments like Job Evaluation, Performance Management, Competency Mapping, Assessment, Organization Restructuring, Talent Pipeline (TMS), Leadership Development, Succession Planning, HRIS, Business HR, Campus Hiring, Employee Engagement Surveys, Leadership Hiring, Bulk Hiring, and more.

Sunil brings to the table over 18 Years of experience in the field of Infrastructure development including Roads, Major & Minor Bridges, Commercial and Residential Buildings, Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Solar Power Infrastructure Development, Topographical Survey, Geotechnical Investigation, and so on. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying & Valuation, from the prestigious Annamalai University, Chennai.

Sunil holds a life membership as an Approved Valuer from the Institution of Valuers (AMV). And is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AME). His capabilities include: Project Planning, Execution, Engineering, Monitoring, Controlling, Billing and Operation and maintenance of projects.

Socially conscious, he has been an important part of the Tree Planting project at the Solar Plant.

Vinod is a synthetic biologist with 16 years of experience in the fields of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetic Engineering, Enzyme Engineering, Enzymology, and Biocatalysis. He is well-versed in Cloning, Mutagenesis, Library Creation, Assay Development, Screening, Structure-function Relationship, Structure-guided Rational Design, Protein Expression, and Protein Purification.

Prior to Gencrest, he was with Reliance Industries Ltd., where his work resulted in a patent application and publication. He also worked as a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, Germany.

On the academic front, Vinod did his PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands and his MSc in Chemistry from IIT Delhi. He has 15 publications and 4 patent applications to his name.

Amit is an exploration specialist with skills in Geological Modelling. He has more than 20 years of global experience spanning 20 countries.

He has managed projects from reconnaissance to resource stages in a variety of occurrences, such as porphyry gold-copper, epithermal and orogenic gold, sedimentary uranium, kimberlite diamonds, and iron ore. Some of his major accomplishments are, an iron ore discovery in Guinea for WAI Capital, Canada and a gold discovery in Tanzania for NMDC Ltd. India.

He has a Doctorate degree in Structural Geology from Banaras Hindu University, India and was awarded the prestigious Dr. K.S. Krishnan Fellowship by the Department of Atomic Energy. Amit also founded MPXG Exploration, India and GeoExploration LLC, USA.

Srinivas brings with him more than 24 years of experience in managing different ore commodities of Mineral Process Plant Operations, Project Commissioning, Finance, Environment, Logistics, and liaising with corporate and external agencies. He holds a Masters in Technology - Mineral Processing.

Fura Gems Inc. and Hindustan Zinc Ltd. are some of the reputable organizations where he has worked and succeeded in achieving cost reduction, evolving production engineering techniques, and creating a teamwork environment to accomplish business targets. Notably, he was also recognized for implementing Six Sigma projects in a beneficiation plant.

Srinivas has obtained a fellowship at the Indian Institute of Mineral Engineers. He is an active member of the Indian Institute of Metals, Kolkata and the Indian Society for Training and Development.

Praveen is an accomplished strategist with more than 33 years of experience in the Mining business. He has expertise in the areas of Mine Construction and Mine Expansion, Mine Design, Beneficiation, and Smelting.

He is well-versed in Strategy Formulation, Cost Reduction and Budgeting, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment, Asset Optimization, Behavior-based Safety Management, and Project Management. Praveen has been part of the management teams which brought positive transformations at Hindustan Zinc Ltd., India and AGRC, Armenia (Vedanta).

He played a key role in getting the Rampura Agucha Open Cast Mines recognized as a world-class operation. Praveen was also actively involved in reviving the Rajpura Dariba Mines in 1994.

Inspired by the ethics of Purushottam Agrawal and his late wife, Samta Agrawal, Richa takes a hands-on approach to managing the activities of Samta Foundation. Attending camps in rural and tribal areas, she has witnessed first-hand the gap in availability of better healthcare and educational facilities. She is driven to provide access to these services and envisions the Foundation to be synonymous with efficiency and quality.

Richa is a mother of two, a commerce graduate and a painter. She launched Samta Foundation’s Art Initiative, which helps tribal artists and craftsmen gain financial independence and provides them with training and guidance from senior artists and professionals.

Nurturing a strong desire for service, she not only hails from a family of philanthropists, but also believes that Samta Foundation gives her a platform to contribute meaningfully.

Varsha has over seven years of experience in handling matters related to Corporate Secretarial Compliance, Due Diligence, Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).

She pursued her Bachelor of Commerce from Mangalore University. She is an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India since 2016. Prior to joining Samta Group she has worked in Law Firms, Practising Company Secretary Firms and Start-up organisation.

Mragank brings with him 28 years of experience in the field of Project Management. He is proficient in the Operations and Engineering aspect of composite textile units. His skills lie in the areas of Implementation and Maintenance of Quality Systems, Buyer Compliances, Inventory Reduction, and energy-saving practices in the textile industry.

As the Head of Operations and Projects at VHM Ind. Ltd., Mragank oversaw a greenfield composite textile project based in Amravati, Maharashtra where he managed to plan and execute the project in record time.

He was also in charge of Engineering and Utility of two units at Morarjee Textiles Ltd., where his team got recognition for undertaking successful energy-saving initiatives.
